Binance Obtains Regulatory Approval to Offer Crypto Products in Italy – Regulation Bitcoin News


Crypto change Binance has acquired regulatory approval from Italy’s monetary regulator to function as a cryptocurrency service supplier within the nation. “Clear and efficient regulation is important for mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies,” stated Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao.

Binance Now Licensed in Italy

Binance introduced Friday that Binance Italy “has acquired regulatory approval” via registration as a Cryptocurrency Service Supplier with the Organismo Agenti e Mediatori (OAM), as required by the Italian laws on crypto property.

The announcement states:

The registration of Binance Italy … permits the corporate to supply crypto merchandise to its prospects in Italy.

Binance Italy, established in latest months, is the authorized entity of the Binance Group in Italy.

Earlier this month, Binance stated it has acquired approval from the French monetary regulator, the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), to function as a registered Digital Asset Service Supplier (DASP). The crypto change additionally lately acquired licenses in Bahrain and Dubai.

Changpeng Zhao (CZ), co-founder and CEO of Binance, commented:
